Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 April 2026 — Draft placeholder.

1. Who we are

PatternForge ("we", "us") provides an AI design studio for fashion designers. This policy explains what personal data we collect and why. Final policy will be issued before public launch and reviewed by qualified counsel.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: email, display name, password hash.
  • Usage data: generated prompts, references, outputs, credit consumption.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor; we receive only invoice metadata.
  • Diagnostic data: anonymised request IDs, error traces.

3. Why we use it

To provide the Service, process payments, enforce limits, communicate with you about your account, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

4. AI processing

Prompts and references you submit are sent to our AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, fal.ai) to generate outputs. We do not train AI models on your content. Provider data policies are listed at hello@patternforge.app.

5. Storage & retention

Your account and outputs are retained for as long as your account is active and for 30 days after deletion to allow recovery. Backups are retained for 90 days.

6. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data. Contact privacy@patternforge.app to exercise these rights. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session state. See our Cookie Policy for details.

8. Sub-processors

We use Lovable Cloud (Supabase) for database, storage and authentication; Cloudflare for edge runtime; Google, OpenAI and fal.ai for AI processing; and a payment processor for billing. A current list is available on request.
