Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using PatternForge ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Final terms will be issued before public launch and reviewed by qualified counsel.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
3. Credits & billing
The Service is sold on a credit-based subscription model. Credits do not represent currency and have no cash value. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds are at our discretion and typically only granted within 14 days of purchase if the Service has not been used.
4. Your content & intellectual property
You retain ownership of prompts, references and outputs you create. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display your content as needed to operate the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models. You may use generated outputs commercially, subject to applicable third-party model terms.
5. AI-generated content disclosure
Outputs generated using the Service are produced by AI and are marked as such on shareable surfaces in line with the EU AI Act. You are responsible for ensuring downstream use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, infringes third-party rights, or violates the acceptable use policy of our underlying AI providers. We may suspend accounts that violate this policy.
7. Service availability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance and provider outages may impact uptime.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
